Anxiety
Worrying about both big and small things is part of your nature. Will I be late, what do people think of me, am I doing a good job at work, what if I have an accident while driving? Am I saying the right thing? The list of worries is never-ending.
You’re always restless and have trouble sleeping. Even when you go to sleep, it is a struggle to remain asleep for an extended period.
Concentrating at work, during conversations, and doing various tasks is impossible.
Even the smallest thing irritates you.
These feelings are more than anxious responses to everyday stressors. Anxiety is a normal response, but persistent feelings of anxiousness suggest something more complicated might trigger your emotions.
If anxiety persists for no apparent reason, it’s best to seek help.
You should not feel like this.
Anxiety does not define you but aims to protect you from imminent threats (e.g., the danger of death). Understanding normal anxious responses to stressors provides a starting point for working through some of the perceived risks that cause your anxiety.
In our society, threat levels occur, but they are rarely life-threatening. It feels as though the world will end if you decide to put yourself first. However, through our work together, it will become apparent the time you spend preparing for the worst-case scenario boils down to a waste of energy and emotional capacity.
Living without fear is a terrifying but necessary step into taking your life back.
Together, we will identify problems that cause unnecessary anxiousness in your life.
We want to redefine success, rather than allowing success to reflect simply the level of comfort you feel on any day. Our actual work requires changing your narrative, which others established in your past.
Part of my job is helping you through those challenges and breaking down constructs of restraint to build the momentum required to burst into another way of life.
All you need to do is be brave and bold enough to take that first step, and I will help you through the rest.
